We hit our lowest point in parenting two weeks ago when the three of us came down with gross, snot-infused colds.
Who knew that having a sick kid is worse than the worst? Not me.

Recently Vacationed
I’m back from a 4 day getaway to a friend’s cabin with 2 girls, 1 babe.
Despite feeling the effects of single parenting, it was very fun.

Every morning and every night Waylon watches us longingly while we brush our teeth.
So we got him his own toothbrush and toothpaste to keep those two and a half teeth sparkling clean.
He loves it.

Oscar Party
This Sunday I’m hosting a little Oscar party. I know it’s ridiculous, I don’t care.
We’re dressing up in our old prom and bridesmaid’s dresses and drinking champagne while we watch (and probably mock) all the glamor.
I’m excited.

Baby Daddy was so excited about our return yesterday that he practically jumped on us when we got out of the car.
I missed him too.
I’ve said it a million times but I’ll say it again: You single mamas, you are the real warriors. I say a prayer for you every day.
