1) Ali {from Original Moods} asked —> Does Baby Daddy get mad/annoyed/throw a fit when you have the camera out so much? {My husband} doesn’t have much patience for me when we are doing something and I’ve got the camera out in everyone’s faces. Hello, how else are we supposed to remember this? Just curious if I’m the only one to have to put up with such ridiculousness…
Answer: Surprisingly, no. But I try to keep photoshoots of Baby Baer to a minimum when he’s around, especially if there’s a prop or a weird outfit involved (he hates that). There have been times where he’s said “shut that off,” which I usually ignore. I do believe in the sanctity of precious moments, though. When Waylon first started cooing and laughing and talking, I never grabbed the camera because I was too busy soaking it in and gazing at his wonderfulness.
2) Shannon {from the The Scribble Pad} asked —> What blogs do you read on the regular?
Answer: Here’s a copy of my blogger dashboard (with a few family and friend blogs removed due to protecting privacy). I also frequent other random blogs every day just because there are so many to frequent. All of this reading is brought to you by: breastfeeding. 90 minutes flies by with all this material.

Please tell me if you think I’m missing anything fantastic.
3) Mom asked {via the telephone}—> Does my boy have socks on? He is cold.
Answer: No.
4) Kara & Lydia asked —> Where have you been all my life?
Answer: In Pennsylvania, probably eating cheese.

woo hoo! daily read! woo hoo!
I just added so many blogs to my reader!
I could live on cheese.
Thank goodness for breastfeeding.
Baby socks are so annoying.
I read a bunch of these blogs too! Small world (small internet?) I miss your sister-in-law’s blog!
I would also like to make a plea for Zoe’s blog to come back. I actually just made a recipe from it this week!
Love your blog. Thanks for keeping up with it! :) I check every day and it’s a highlight while I’m stuck at the office…
Every Day Everett, bitches!
Haha
I just caught up on this week’s posts. So great. I especially liked the old survey you found from college. We were so smart back then, right?
So smart.
who, my question got publicly answered. I am not sure it was even that big of a question. but at least it made some folks happy to see thier name among the daily reads.
p.s. your post yesterday. LOVED IT! Walked home so slowly because I was reading it on my itty bitty blackberry screen while pushing Behr’s stroller. What a collection of quotes.
First of all, I’m so sorry you still have a blackberry.
Second of all, thank you for asking something easy so I could write this post in a jiff and have extra time during this nap. What a thought.
My goodness folks! I am feeling the love! I’m so sorry I quit (I do miss it sometimes) but really, I’m loving the fact that I don’t have to photograph every dish I make (my husband appreciates that fact, too) and then edit photos. Really, I’ve stepped back a lot from the internet/computer and I’m feeling great about it. My head feels less clogged and I’m getting a lot more done elsewhere in my life.
Kate, your blog is the only one I still read regularly, with JJ’s occasionally grazing my screen. You guys are some good writers and I like knowing what both of you are up to :)
And put some socks on the poor kid! No wonder his feet are so cold and clammy all of the time :)
They always fall off! Not worth it.
I chuckled when I got to your Mama’s question. Oh, Moms.
I love cheese, too. So much, in fact, that I really should belong to some sort of 12-step program. Even my son has inherited my flagrant love affair with cheese.. Yum!
I am literally eating a piece right now. I blame it on the cold. I need the extra layer? (Definitely not)
Just found your blog through AP. Can’t wait to read more. Don’t get me started on the baby/sock/feet being cold thing. I always tell people if they want to chase around the socks and shoes all day then go ahead! Babies who don’t walk don’t need shoes :) That’s my theory anyways!
Exactly.
Hey wow! Thanks for the mention. I appreciate that. And I recognize a few of the other bloggers on your list, I’m in good company. :)
The Bloggess is HILARIOUS!
