As you may have noticed, the internet has exploded with fall bucket lists. Most of them look something like this:

I thought it was cute until I realized I don’t want to do most of those things. I mean, I want to in the way I want to go to the movies or go wine tasting, but it’s unrealistic with an infant. Also, hay makes me itchy.
So I made my own bucket list, with things I will actually do.

Now i’m hungry for pumpkin bread- and pumpkin seeds, pumpkin pie, pumpkin muffins and my favorite- pumpkin straight from the can! oh and pumpkin/squash soup! yum :)
I want to make and eat pumpkin pie made from my mother’s recipe.
I’m celebrating my Dad’s 86th birthday today!
Drinking cider and eating crisp, crunchy fresh apples!
Most of the eating ones I’ve already got covered. Other than that, my bucket list would include prepping my cold frame for growing greens this fall, cleaning out the chicken house, prepping the flower beds for winter, freezing the remaining celery, and taking a picture of the kids for our Christmas card.
Ooops, are bucket lists supposed to be fun?
I love your list. the only things on my list are to go to bed before midnight one night, and to have a nice evening with my husband w/o all 20,000 kids. Yah, I know I don’t have that many kids, but it sure feels like it sometimes! :)
Ha. Well, the internet didn’t “Explode” with bucket lists, per-say. I just happened to post mine, offer it to anyone who wanted it, and then it got pinned up the whazoo–hence people started making their own…and well, you know where it went from there. I never expected anyone or everyone I should say to want to do all the same things as my family does. To each their own :) Yours is cute.
