It’s no secret that I love shower curtains. I think they can be quite beautiful and really make a bathroom a lovely place.
Once upon a time I was lusting after Carrie and Jake’s shower curtain in their home in Lancaster. I always made a point to say, “I love this shower curtain.”
When they decided to move to Alaska, I was very sad. My only consolation was that I might be able to weasel my way into said shower curtain. After a little convincing, they let me borrow it while they’re away. It made me very happy.
Perhaps part of the reason I love shower curtains is because it is something I can control. Even though I’d love to create a space like this, it’s not possible.
