From time to time I watch my niece and nephew for my sis-in-law, Zoe. I love spending time with Tage and Jada because they are funny and sweet and also because it gives me a chance to practice parenting musts like patience, flexibility, and changing smelly diapers. Even though I’ve been consistently babysitting all sorts of kids since the ripe age of 12, now that I’m going to be a parent–it’s different.
On Saturday while Brad and Zoe were at an all day wedding affair, I watched the hooligans and took a few pictures. I admit it was difficult at times to keep up with these two at almost 9 months pregnant, but their sweet innocence and excitement over the tiniest things was worth it. They make me excited to have one of my own.
Zoe is much more responsible and would not normally let her son run around in his diaper–but I let him because I’m Aunt Kate.

Baby Baer will be the best photographed baby in the USA. did you get a new camera recently?
Baby Daddy gifted me one at Christmas. It’s my most prized possession.
These pictures are amazing!
Great pictures. Love #3.
Love them all. Your subjects will miss their photo shoots come June…
You sound like Kenton. We’re not moving to Russia!
Well, no, but we won’t see you several times a week anymore!
And besides, your camera’s memory card will probably always be full of baby Baer :)
Wow, these pictures are amazing! You have an eye for photography.
Also- I read your comment on my blog about when Sam wakes up and laughed! He actually used to wake up a lot later…like 9:00. But he was going to bed later then too…usually around 9:30. It was really difficult to put him to bed and someone suggested that we put him down earlier and it was so much easier for him to fall asleep for the night!
