As most of you know, one of my best friends currently resides in Alaska. Despite our distance, we have continued to support each others’ adventures from afar with lots of love and encouragement. This was demonstrated in a big way on Saturday at our baby shower when Carrie surprised me by sending a song that she (along with husband Jake) wrote and recorded for Baby Baer.
I was very surprised and laughed and cried and missed her very much. The song is so good! You can listen to it by clicking on the video below. We were all laughing thinking about Austin and I walking around our apartment mouthing the words for the hundredth time while the baby claps and asks for it again.
Thank you Kings for all your love! I can’t wait to see you again soon.
